The Akeer Foundation is building a school in the heart of the village of Akeer Adoor and its surrounding communities.

The wonderful people of South Sudan, and specifically in the rural village of Akeer-adoor are a resilient community, with an incredible sense of unity and togetherness. Despite this, due to civil and governmental turmoil and environmental factors, the people of rural South Sudan have not received the education they deserve. The Akeer Foundation has three foundational tenets:

• Longevity, our school will make the greatest impact for the longest time possible.
• Accessibility, our school will be reached by as many students as possible of all genders and ages.
• Mastery, our school will provide students a rigorous education with a curriculum and teaching that will allow them to pursue even higher forms of education.

The Akeer Foundation is dedicated to bringing education to the people of South Sudan. We believe that education is an inalienable right — not a privilege.
